OCL Regeneration, the leading provider of highways waste recycling solutions, has today announced the signing of a collaboration framework agreement with Milestone Infrastructure, part of M Group Services, to supply our industry-leading solution nationwide to current and future clients.

OCL’s approach, including our network of facilities, ensures 100% of the waste produced through highways maintenance is recycled into new aggregates, surfacing materials, and low carbon concretes. By working with Milestone, we support their target of achieving net zero across their operations, including their supply chain, by 2040 and the wider Group’s ambition of achieving net zero by 2050.

Together, we have successfully recycled over 30,000 tonnes of highway waste in the past year alone, resulting in the reduction of more than 500 tonnes of carbon emissions.

“This new collaboration framework is an evolution of a highly successful working relationship that has developed over the past three years. With Milestone’s asset management and design expertise, and our innovative recycling solutions, we can accelerate innovation and change, which is hugely important in our efforts to catch up with and combat climate change.”

Stuart Gready, Managing Director at OCL Regeneration

OCL’s on-site processing can serve multiple projects at a time, enabling what would typically be considered waste by one project to get a fresh lease of life across other projects. This helps Milestone to support its clients in reducing their costs and carbon emissions associated with transportation and waste disposal, cutting their reliance on virgin products, and bringing them closer to achieving their sustainability and carbon reduction goals.

“Working with OCL means Milestone will process, treat, and re-lay highway waste within close radius of where the material originates. Together, we can support our clients in achieving their sustainability and carbon reduction goals while reducing costs associated with transportation and waste disposal.”

Matthew Riches, Operations Director at Milestone Infrastructure
